Rosie was amazing! Right from when we read her profile on her web page we knew that she was the celebrant for us! And then we thought we may have left too late to secure her but it was meant to be. She is on our page, such a pleasure to deal with, Rosie felt like a friend from the first initial phone call. She put our minds at ease throughout the whole planning process and made it stress free. To explain how amazing an experience it was/is to have Rosie as our celebrant starts with a Frenzal Rhomb / Nancy Vandal gig at The Metro in 2009.
We both noticed her seated a few rows back and said to each other, "That's Rosie Beaton!" If we'd only known then how Rosie would come to be such an important part of our lives some 7 years later, we probably would have run up and pashed her! She went above and beyond for us, regularly checking in to remind us to get sorted, and helping us customise our ceremony, which we wanted to ensure was a celebration of equality, love and independence. Rosie got it. She got us and made our day something truly extra special. Plus she stayed around for the party, had a boogie and met the family! Talk about lifetime bragging rights for us 90s, 2000s triple j kids!!!

Where do I even begin. From the first time Rosie called me on the phone she was just so easy to talk to, warm welcoming and fun. I knew she was the celebrant for us. What I didn't know was just exactly how wonderful she would be.

I've been reluctantly settling back into the real world after we had to burst that happy little bubble we created up there at StJosephs.
We had an amazing time and both reckon it was the Best Wedding Ever!
But seriously, it all came together better than we could have hoped and it was just an awesome vibe up there the whole time. Even the little things fell into place at the last minute, like JP with the rings - he was in an incredibly anti-social, grumpy mood the whole time we were there, but like you said, he rocked when we needed him to!
Thank you for everything you did for us both before and on the day. You helped us have exactly the kind of ceremony we wanted, calmed any last minute nerves I may have had out on the water tank, and even helped clean the mascara off Hannah's face mid ceremony.

Honestly I don’t think there is anything we would have changed? I had the nicest time. Possibly I might’ve taken a valium beforehand if I’d known I was going to be so shaky hahaha.
In all seriousness, we were both over the moon with the ceremony – it was really lovely and personal. It felt very special to have someone officiating who, dare I say it, felt like a friend rather than a government official. And the whole process was just made so much easier by how down-to-earth and awesome you are – the ceremony was probably the one thing I never felt stressed about as it was clearly in very capable hands.
